When to Find Treatment

There is no right answer to this question, as it is personal to everyone. But there are some signs to determine if it might be time to seek professional services.

If you feel sad or not yourself for an extended period or find yourself struggling to enjoy the things you used to enjoy, it might be time to seek help. This is especially true if you are using drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling, food, or even work to self-medicate and distract yourself from your feelings or you have resorted to self-harm. You may also decide to seek help if you have lost a loved one or suffered due to trauma. Divorce or splitting with a partner may also be an excellent reason to give us a call.

If you face challenges to your quality of life and want to make a change, find out how we can help you get on the path to recovery.

Exploring Your Mental Health Treatment Options

There are five different treatment options at Healthy U. Each with different needs and care levels.

Mental Health Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program

If you need care but cannot attend a physical location due to pandemic restrictions or other barriers, we can come to you online. Our virtual intensive outpatient programs (V IOP) typically take place three to five days a week for three hours a day. Receive the care you need from the safety of your home. We work around your schedule. Learn more about our V IOP here.

Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program

This program is designed for people who need a high level of care and support but cannot check into an inpatient facility due to family and work obligations. This program typically lasts about three months and can be tailored to meet your individual needs. Learn more about our mental health IOP today.

Mental Health Outpatient Program

If you don’t need quite as much help or feel better after completing our mental health IOP but still need support, you may want to consider our outpatient program. Meet with your counselor one to three times a week to check in on your progress and monitor any medications you may be taking. You may also choose this route if you wish to continue school, work, or have other obligations. Learn more about our mental health OP.

Adolescent Mental Health IOP

Our Adolescent IOP is similar to our regular IOP, but it is tailored to meet the specific challenges that young people face when it comes to mental health while still allowing them to attend school and spend time with their friends. If your teen is having a hard time with their mental health, learn more about our A IOP.

Mental Health Partial Hospitalization

This is the highest level of care we offer, and it is perfect for individuals who need more support than they would receive with our mental health IOP or OP options. If you have recently moved from inpatient care and would like help making the transition while still enjoying time with your family, our mental health PHP might be ideal for you. This program typically lasts from one to five months, depending on your needs, and can include group therapy, one-on-one counseling, medication, and more. Learn more about our mental health PHP.

What Our Clients Are Saying

“I am blessed to have had the good fortune of attending this program since October 2018. It was the first time I tried anything like this, and I was quite nervous. I was treated with respect, dignity, and devotion. I felt at ease and actually looked forward to the sessions. The different therapists brought unique aspects of treatment, which helped to develop a multitude of tools that has helped change my perception, reaction to, and action plan to different life stressors. This program has worked for me, but only because I was willing and worked the program. I’m am now on a journey to becoming the best version of myself.”
